Now press the button on the key head for 3 or 4 seconds. Release the button, turn the ignition off & remove the key. Now see if it locks the doors. You might have to do the button pressing operation a couple of times for it to reset the code.
Using removal tools, remove your door panel and door lock cluster panel. Loosen all clips, remove all screws, and bend the panel away from the door. Remove any plastic cover, keeping it intact enough to reseal later. Locate and remove your lock screws and door lock actuator bolts before disconnecting the black electrical connector and removing
Originally, the keyfob would not work at all. I have rewired the module above the spoiler due to snapped wires, checked the module and all seems ok now. All fuses associated with the central locking have been checked and are good (the two usual suspects have already been uprated to 20A). Since the rewire: The doors all lock from the keyfob.

The most common reason for a central locking to re-open on the lock button is the central locking has detected a door or the trunk isn't closed correctly. Open each door and the trunk to check there is nothing in the latch to 'trip' the unlock setting. Close the doors and trunk and retest the remote. Cars & Trucks.

4. Consider the solenoid. If the other doors work, the problem could possibly be the door lock solenoid. If this is the case, your regular mechanic can diagnose the problem. Then, if necessary he or she can remove the car door panel and replace the solenoid. 5. Defrost the lock. To check an individual lock mechanism, work the door lock manually
The ascent canopy has two methods of accessing the rear door. The first is via the vehicle's central locking system, the second is via the key. In this case, it sounds like both of these methods are not working. It is likely that something is misaligned or broken in the lock system.

If you pull the 25amp fuse, you'll need to reset the system!!! If the fuse does not do it, take a picture of the unit and mark and number all the lines going to the unit. Open the Unit and see if the motor is burnt. (won't turn) Look into the back of the motor with a light. If it looks burnt, you'll need to remove it.
